Halloween Festivities

October has been a very busy but fun month for us with school, field trips, the Fall Festival and Halloween. Elyse has been soaking it all up this year. She told me that Halloween is her favorite holiday. We'll see if that's still true in December.

 Fall Festival

Both girls dressed up and got glitter butterflies painted on their hands at the school festival.

We posed for a quick photo with props in the "photo booth."

Daddy helped Elyse carve her first pumpkin. She was thrilled and was able to help a lot more than I thought she could. She even chose exactly what she wanted it to look like. Bryn wasn't feeling well and didn't want to take part in the pumpkin carving.

Happy Halloween!
I tried to get a good picture of the girls before we left the house to trick-or-treat but Bryn was too distracted by the moon being up even though it was still light out.

And then they were distracted by the pumpkin. (It is a good picture of the back of Peppa Pig though).

And then they were distracted by early trick-or-treaters.

And they got really excited and were ready to go.
Candid pictures of kids are the best anyway!

Handing out candy with Papa. They called the trick-or-treaters their "customers."

Bryn had enough of taking pictures.
Lola had enough of Halloween.
