Jax had his first outing at exactly one week old on Christmas Eve. We spent the day at Nana and Papa's house while Daddy, Pawpaw and Papa worked on some Christmas surprises at our house. Then we all went to the Christmas Eve service at church and back to Nana and Papa's for dinner and to open gifts. It was a big day and he was an absolute angel.
Sleep in Heavenly Peace
Jax slept through the entire Christmas Eve service.
And through all of the commotion of dinner and presents after.
The girls have been talking about the Barbie Pop Up Camper for months but we never expected a reaction as ecstatic as this!
They were thrilled!
Christmas Morning
Elyse and Pawpaw played Go Fish until it was time for Bryn and Jax to get up.
Christmas morning came bright and early for this little Santa.
They got all of the things they need to set up their new shared bedroom.
Playing on the new monkey bars that Santa brought.
Santa brought this beautiful new playhouse, swing set and monkey bars for the kids.
Christmas can really wear you out!
This was truly a very special Christmas for our family. I am so thankful that we were all home together, a family of five, and holding our tiny baby Jax brought even more meaning to what Mary and Joseph went through when Jesus was born and the ultimate gift God gave us on that first Christmas, His baby son.
