This sweet baby boy is 4 months old! Jax has grown sooooo much this month. I've bumped into people at various places with babies the same age as Jax and I can't get over how much bigger he is than all of them. Elyse and Bryn were big babies too but Jax surpasses them both in size. Every inch of him is so cuddly and sweet, I can hardly stand it!
This is what happens when you have two older sisters!
Between treating allergies and congestion with breathing treatments that make him jittery and anxious, to an ear infection and teething, there hasn't been much sleep in the Martin house this month. We are hoping that's all behind him now and next month will be full of nights with longer stretches between feedings and more sleep for all of us. One thing is for sure, Jax is always happy when he wakes up and that makes getting up 6-10 times a night a lot easier!
Jax's 4 Month Stats
Weight: 18 pounds (93%)
Length: 26 1/4 inches (93%)
Head: 43 centimeters (90%)
Dr. Brower told us that Jax is longer than most 7 month old babies. That explains why he's pushing out of all of his 3-6 month pjs and we can't snap any of his onesies! She also said that he is much more alert and able to track objects better than most 4-6 month olds. He rolls from his tummy to back all the time and can get from his back to his side now too. It's just a matter of time before he rolls onto his tummy. The milestones are coming too quickly for mommy but we know he will be in a hurry to keep up with his sisters. We just want time to slow down a little!
