Time is flying and Elyse is now officially a 2nd grader! She had a lot of fun events all crammed into the last couple of weeks of 1st grade.
The entire 1st grade finally had a field trip and they got to go to the zoo.

We broke the kinds into smaller groups and Elyse was lucky enough to be in a group with all of her close friends, Allison, Kaitlyn, Juliana, Ashley and Jena.

Elyse's class studied the lifecycle of the butterfly and got to release them once they were ready.
She lost her second top tooth. It hung on for so long!!!
Elyse, Justice, Jena and Ray got to lead the school in the pledge, Star Spangled Banner and read off the announcements.

Mommy got to be in Elyse's 1st grade class one last time for the monthly workstation rotations. It's been so fun getting to help out in her classroom and spend that time with her once a month.
