A Very Happy Holiday Season

The holidays came and went in a blink this year. Every year gets busier and they go by faster and then we are on the other side of a new year and I wonder, how did that happen??? As quick as the holiday season seemed to me this year, it was still packed with so much fun and so many wonderful memories.

Thanksgiving at my parent's house. Elyse and Bryn were thrilled to see my cousin Lili. She is so good with children! She let the girls paint her nails different colors and she even kept it on for a few days.

This was Jaxon's year for tears with Santa. These pictures are priceless to me. They all three cried on Santa's lap at the same age.

Snuggling together and watching movies.

Jax likes to lick the peanut butter off his bread and make a big mess with it. I think he thought he was being sneaky.

At The Nutcracker with their friend Allison.
The El Paso Ballet Theater

It was an incredible performance and we loved seeing so many of the kids they take class with and their teacher's perform.

Games by the fire.

Bryan and I took the kids to see the lights in downtown El Paso again this year. It was beautiful!

 Where's Jax?

Lunch with my little in the middle.

 December Ballet Exhibition

Elyse and Bryn have both made such huge improvement since starting ballet at their new school. It's hard to believe the change just since August!

Road trippin' to Fort Worth.

1st Stop- Mimi and Grandpas. Jax loved watching all of the animals out the window with the binoculars.

Mimi and Bryn with the same expression!

 Building gingerbread trains and houses.

Bryn and Elyse did awesome on their train and house!

Doing guy stuff with the guys.

Mimi had a small tree for each of the kids to decorate and keep in their rooms while we stayed there. The girls did this the last time we stayed with her for Christmas so it has become a little tradition that they love.

And of course we did some baking for Santa!

Family Pictures at Mimi & Grandpa's House

Milk, cookies and carrots all ready for Santa and the reindeer.

Someone... not saying who... was tempted to eat Santa's cookies.

Christmas Morning at Mimi & Grandpa's

Santa brought the girls their first American Girl dolls!

Jax got his very own puppy dog!

Uncle Micheal brought the kids special Christmas morning donuts.

Christmas Day with the cousin's in Fort Worth
The cousin crew.

It's impossible to get everyone to look at the camera at the same time.

The big girls.

 Love these ladies!

Opening presents at Dee and Pawpaw's House

Jay's reaction (and Bryan's) to this soccer ball was hysterical!

Watching movies with Morgan.

Dee took us to the aquarium. We all thought getting to go inside and feed and hold the birds was the neatest thing!

 Jax and the giant fish!

Bryn did her own makeup with her new makeup kit. I think she did a better job than I do on mine!

 Hanging out with the guys.

Dee and Elyse having a little rest.

 My Christmas roomies.

 Morgan helped make spaghetti.

After we got home, we celebrated Christmas on New Years Eve with my family but somehow forgot to take pictures!!! We are beyond blessed to have so much family to celebrate and spend the holidays with.

It truly is a WONDERFUL life!
