Our little beauties performed in The Nutcracker with the Rocky Mountain Ballet Theater this year. This was the first time for both to have a role in it and it was such a wonderful experience for them. They learned a lot about commitment and dedication with all of the extra practices and rehearsals but they loved every minute of it! Both Elyse and Bryn were cast as Bon Bons with Mother Ginger in and Elyse was also cast as a mouse for the battle scene. We are so proud of them!
Bon Bon costume fitting.
Mouse costume fitting. I love how Elyse always stayed in character when she had this on!
Dress rehearsal.
Waiting in line for make-up.
Watching the mice rehearse Act 1 - The Battle Scene.
Showtime!
Jax waited patiently for the show to begin with a holiday treat.
Backstage.
The Battle Scene with the mice was very fast moving and we couldn't get any good pictures of Elyse but we got some great ones of the both girls performing as Bon Bons together.
Elyse and Bryn got very special, custom Rocky Mountain Ballet Nutcracker cookies after the show was over.
