Elyse, Bryn & Jax: California Vacation

We talked about taking the kids to Mexico or California this summer but ultimately, after a little begging, Daddy gave into another trip to Disneyland. The kids were thrilled to be going again and even Jax, who didn't know what to expect, asked every single day to go after we told them.

So excited and ready to go!

When you drop a cup of apple juice in your lap, you put on a diaper and let your shorts and underwear dry on your tray table.

Our first ride was Pirates of the Caribbean.

Our second stop was Splash Mountain. Bryn was too small to ride this the last time we were at Disneyland or at Disney World so this was her first time. I love the look on all three kid's faces. Elyse knew what was coming and for some reason felt the need to hold her breath as if we were going to go under the water, Bryn and Jax... sheer terror.

Round 2

There were no lines for the rides either of the mornings we were there so we were able to walk onto big rides repeatedly without ever having to wait. It was amazing!

We spent a little time checking out Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, a new section of the part that opened a few weeks before we got there.

All three kids loved the ride.

Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters was Jax's favorite ride.

Disneyland was so much more enjoyable this time around since the kids are older. We are already talking about next time, even Daddy!

A Day At The Beach

Jax has never been to the beach before and the last time we took Bryn, she absolutely refused to get out of the stroller because the feel of the sand terrified her. Luckily, all three kiddos loved the sand and the waves. It was such a fun day!
