Two weeks into the school year, we decided to make a switch. We have been praying for a spot to open at Ascension Lutheran, the preschool that's right down the street from our house. It's a smaller school that's more secure with a much more nurturing and loving environment. Elyse had only been attending the other school three days a week and this switch meant upping her to a five day a week program. I was very worried about how she would handle the transition, especially since she wasn't adjusting as well as we'd hoped at the first school, but she has amazed me. She is so much happier at her new school and with her new teacher. She is excited to go every morning and always runs into her class room to give her teacher a big. What a relief!
