We just got back from a whirlwind but very magical trip to Disney World with Pawpaw, Uncle Chad, Aunt Amanda and Mitchell. We spent our first day at Epcot and then three days at the Magic Kingdom. It was go, go, go but so much fun! We got incredibly lucky with our fast passes to get on rides and meet characters. I will include all of the princess pictures in the next post. We are so grateful to Uncle Chad and Aunt Amanda for making this trip possible for us!
Excited and happy girls on our flight to Florida.
(Make sure to scroll all the way to the end of the post to see them on the flight home)
Day 1 - Epcot
Who says three's a crowd? On our way!
This picture made me realize how much the girls look alike. Twin profiles!
Sharing secrets and blankies.
Playing in France. The girls love their little cousin, Mitchell, so much!
Elyse is obsessed with finding treasure everywhere she goes (therefore so is Bryn) so when we heard about this shop in Japan where the girls could pick an oyster from a tank and extract a pearl, we knew they'd be thrilled. Elyse begged to get there all day as we went on rides and strolled through all of the different countries but when they finally picked their oysters, it did not disappoint. Both Elyse and Bryn now have beautiful pearl necklaces.
Day 2 - Magic Kingdom
Aunt Amanda and Mitchell spent the night with us after Epcot while the guys headed to Daytona for the race. These three cuties spent the morning playing in bed.
A perfect curtsy in front of the castle by our beautiful princess.
This ride was definitely a favorite! I lost track of how many times we rode the Carrousel.
We ate lunch at the Be Our Guest restaurant in Beauty and the Beast's castle. There are three different dining rooms you can eat in so we checked them all out. This is the dark room in the west wing where the Beast keeps the wilting rose. This room looks exactly like the one in the movie and the rose actually wilts as you sit and eat. There is also lightning and thunder and an occasional roar by the Beast which, as you can see, completely terrified the girls.
Elyse stopped to make a wish at every fountain... and at any rides with water.
Watching the Festival of Fantasy Parade.
Aunt Amanda and Bryn waving at the floats.
We went shopping in this Christmas store a little later in the afternoon. The girls were busily admiring all of the beautiful (and very fragile) ornaments when a shop worker approached Elyse. I thought she was going to ask them to stop touching things but instead told Elyse that she really needed her help to make the store extra magical and Christmasy. She asked Elyse to shout "Merry Christmas!!!" on the count of three. As soon as Elyse yelled out, the store lit up with hundreds of Christmas lights. Elyse was in awe and I'm pretty sure she still thinks she has magical powers!
Mad Tea Party
We rode once but had to ride again immediately so they could have a pink tea cup.
Dizzy
Main Street Electrical Parade
I got chills when the music began for this parade. It took me right back to my childhood and it was so special to be able to share it with my daughters.
Happy kiddos, even after a long day.
I love this little guy so much!
Day 3 - Magic Kingdom
The girls loved how every Disney employee at the park acknowledged them as princesses on the days they wore their princess gowns. They'd bow and curtsy to Elyse and Bryn and say, "Hello, princess."
The day was all about Fantasy Land and princesses.

Day 4 - Magic Kingdom
This was my view from bed every morning. Sweet babies!
Rapunzel's Tower
Daddy & Elyse - Splash Mountain
(notice Daddy's hands up in the air)
Mommy & Elyse - Splash Mountain
(notice Mommy's hands holding onto Elyse for dear life)
Mommy & Elyse - Space Mountain
Daddy & Elyse - Space Mountain
We loved using the rider swap on the rides Bryn was unable to ride. It saved so much time.
Lunch at Be Our Guest again. We ate in the large ballroom by the windows watching the snow fall.
Tomorrowland Speedway
Mad Tea Party = Pink Tea Cup = Dizzy Mommy
Elyse LOVES to shop and asked to go into the stores everywhere we went, in line for every ride, as we got off the rides, while we were eating, in the restrooms...
Mickey Mouse cake pop waiting for the Main Street Electrical Parade.
Olaf cake pop.
Alice talked to Elyse from her float. She said, "Oh, look at her dress! It's so lovely! Can I have one like that?" Elyse felt so special.
I can't handle the sweetness of this little girl entranced by the parade.
A seat with a view for the fireworks. Bryn had "Texas hair" in Florida.
The perfect ending to a fantastic trip!
Flying home. No smiles here. It's the Disney hangover.

It was so good to spend this time together as a family in the most magical place ever! We really did have an amazing time.
