Bryan bravely took Elyse and Bryn on a road trip to Fort Worth to visit family all by himself over the 4th of July weekend. Everyone survived the car trip and had a great time while they were there.
Bryan and the girls went fishing at the pond on Grandpa and Mimi's property and Elyse caught her first fish! She looks a little bit more concerned than excited though!

The timing of the trip couldn't have been better. Aunt Amanda and Mitchell were staying at Dee and Pawpaw's house before their big move to Montana. Bryan and the girls got to spend a day with them before they left.
