Elyse performed in the Kid's Excel program at Lundy last week. Kid's Excel is a non-profit organization that meets with a group of 4th and 5th graders after school every Wednesday to promote reading and the arts. Each year, they choose one Kindergarten class to perform with them in their end of year program and this year, Elyse's class was picked. She's been so excited about this performance but wouldn't tell us any details, only that it was a surprise so we were shocked when we saw it and she was one of the main characters. Elyse played the friend of a little boy who is developing a love of reading through fun books like Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan and Harry Potter. Not only did she play his friend but she had singing and dancing parts as Tweedle Dee from Alice in Wonderland and a Hogwart from Harry Potter. She did awesome!
