Elyse and Bryn had their long awaited ballet recital this past Saturday. It was Bryn's first recital and she did so well. She got a little nervous and teary eyed back stage the night of the performance but when it was time for her to go out and dance, she was smiling and happy. This year's recital was Alice In Wonderland. Both girls were a part of the Mad Hatter's Tea Party. Elyse was a tea cup and Bryn was a tea pot. I'm so proud of both of them. They danced beautifully!
Dress rehearsal was in the morning. I tried to get a good picture of them in front of the Abraham Chavez Theater where their recital was held but it was too sunny so they were squinting and wouldn't smile.

Bryn was so proud of herself when she was finished and excited to see everyone and get flowers just like she's watched Elyse do for the past three years.
We were extremely blessed to have so much family in town to see the recital this year. I know that having them there made this recital even more special and memorable for Elyse and Bryn.
