I spent the night before Elyse's first day snuggling my almost 1st grader. She's been pretty tearful about going back to school.
The morning of the first day of school, Elyse woke up happy and excited. I was so relieved!

This is how the rest of us felt about Elyse being back in school. I missed my Bug and they missed their big sister and playmate.
Elyse was still happy at lunchtime. She told me after school that she had a really good day and likes her new teacher.

Pick up after school on the first day was complete chaos so I wasn't able to get a picture of the girls.
This is the second day of school and everyone is still smiling!
