We had a fantastic time in Denver over spring break. We stayed with Nancy and Maura but got to see Chad, Amanda, Mitchell, Megan, Morgan, Christy, Caileigh and Braedon too. It was a busy week. We tried to take the kids to see as much as we could in just a few days. I think they got a good feel for the area and they love it!
Breakfast and cartoons.
Bryn and Elyse worked on crafts while Jax napped.
We visited Washington Park, just down the street from Nancy's house, and the kids got to see the "Wynken, Blynken and Nod" statue from the book Aunt Nancy read to them at night.
We fed the ducks and geese and then the kids got to play on the playground.
Later we saw all the signs that said "Do NOT feed the ducks and geese!" I'm not sure the girls will ever let me live that down.
I see Jax!
Zip lining
Gooooo!
The mountains in the distance were gorgeous and full of snow.
Aunt Maura treated us to ice cream at Bonnie Brea.
The Denver Children's Museum
I think Jax would have been perfectly happy to stay in this adorable kitchen all day.
Meanwhile, these kiddos played in the market.
He made a friend!
It's blurry but we got all four girls in this picture.
A giant Light Bright.
They learned how to create wind in the Energy Room.
The Water Room.
This was the beginning of the end. Jax was drenched!
Playing in the clouds.
Practicing her kayaking skills.
Jax took charge in the reception of the Vet Center while Mitchell checked Megan's lungs.
