Jaxon Turns 1 & Bryan Turns 40!

What an incredible (and fast) year it's been with the newest little addition to our family! We celebrated Jax's 1st birthday and Bryan's 40th surrounded by so much family and so much love. It was a wonderful weekend and we enjoyed every minute of having Pawpaw and Dee and Mimi and Grandpa here with us!
Bath time snuggles with my baby boy one last time before he turned one.

Jax woke up on his birthday to see his very own chair from Dee and Pawpaw.

His celebrations kicked off with a birthday donut hole.

Which, of course, he loved!

Everyone met at Ardovino's for a birthday brunch/lunch.

After lunch, one of the birthday boys had to go home to take a nap and we did some decorating.

Bryan's 40th Birthday Cake

40 Years of Memories

12 Months of Memories

Bryan's cheesecake and Jaxon's birthday and smash cakes.

Eating a little dinner before presents and cake.

We got Bryan to wear his shirt like Jax's!

Time for presents!

These two... so cute!

Bryan looking over his 40 letters.

Bryan had to go to the garage to get his birthday gifts. No new truck but a new table saw and miter saw!

Happy birthday, Daddy!

Happy birthday, baby!

Make a wish!

Yay!!!
This is the first time he's really clapped like this!

He's still clapping!

Time to smash! At first he would only put one finger in at a time and would play with the frosting in his hands but he wasn't really eating it so Mommy had to help out.

Then he really got into it!

He wasn't going to take his hand off the cake, even for a drink.

Too. Much. Cake.

One very quick year ago.

There is no getting him to sit still with Teddy anymore!
