Elyse and Bryn started school this week! It's hard to believe that we have a 2nd grader and a Kindergartener! We went to orientation and meet the teacher last week and as sad as it is to see Bryn starting Kinder, it's so nice to be familiar with the school and staff this time around. Bryn has the same Kindergarten teacher that Elyse did so we know this will be a fantastic year for her and we've heard so many great things about Elyse's new teacher too!
Both girls are very excited to be at the same school this year. Elyse loves knowing that she is older and more experienced at Lundy and that she can be looking out for her little sister. Bryn loves knowing that she's at the same school as Elyse and feels like such a big girl now.

Bryn knows Aubrey from Pre-K. They weren't in the same class but played together a lot at recess.

Elyse allowed us to take one quick picture before she rushed outside to be with her friends.
Bryn's teacher picked the class up from the cafeteria on the first day so we got a few extra minutes with her.
"Bye Daddy! Bye Jax!"
My heart was aching as I watched her walk away but I know we are very blessed that our kids get to attend this amazing school and for outstanding teachers like Mrs. Hardwick. Both Elyse and Bryn had a fantastic first day and were excited and happy when I picked them up after school.
